We come here 1-2 times a month, and have always enjoyed the food. Typically we come on a Saturday or Sunday, around 11 or 12. This is usually a busy time, so we understand there may be longer waits than usual. Service is not always terrific, but never terrible. Servers are always friendly. We will continue to go every other weekend.

Stopped in tonight after being stuck at the hospital with family and other restaurants were closed. The meal was tasty, but the highlight was Russell the Assistant Manager who was friendly and lively...a tough thing to be at 10pm!

Always a good experience! Breakfast is always delicious. The customer service is very good. The servers are always friendly and accommodating. Perkins will now be my go to place when I want to go out for breakfast.

I had the Fit Favorite Spinach & Baby Bella Scramble. It was a little bland. Next time I'll ask to add cheese. The service was surprisingly great. At least four different people stopped at our table to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband got the brioche french toast which looked amazingly fluffy and delicious.

After a chilly night at beach volleyball, I ducked in here for a bit warmth and nourishment. Started off with a delicious hot chocolate which was followed by a breakfast meal consisting of 3 pancakes, an omelet and breakfast potatoes. All the food was yummy. I'm not sure if I was just super hungry or what but I was impressed. But to be honest I don't really have the highest expectations for food quality at Perkins. I can't say I've had anything horrible though. Service was meh! It was the fastest service but we never lacked for a drink and the waitress was polite enough but didn't go out of her way to converse.

....good alternative to Denny's. The service was good and it's a good place to eat at 3am. It's not loud at all and the service is A-OK. Thumbs up from me.

My wife and I have been dining here for a few years as we live in the neighborhood. Always had good weekend breakfasts and dinners on occasion and have had slow service on only a few occasions. Since the beginning of this year we started noticing some changes. The few occasions where we had encountered slow, neglected service started to increase. Then we noticed some of the servers we had seen for a couple of years had left and been replaced within a very short time frame. Then the wait time on getting everything from our drinks to our bill kept increasing. Finally on our last visit we ordered the BBQ platter (which we had gotten on previous visits) and noticed two things. First was that the serving size was at least a third smaller than it had been and the sides at least a quarter smaller. The second was that the price had increased. Third, the quality of the BBQ had diminished. This was too many red flags for us. We don't know what happened to this Perkins nor do we need an explanation. To us Perkins always had consistently good food at fair prices and the service was usually ok. Now it failed in all those areas and if a restaurant can't maintain that quality in those areas then something is terribly broken. We may return someday to check to see if there were any improvement but we have a great deal of skepticism that it will. What a shame.

I'm about to drop some knowledge like Aristotle up in this b. A fellow I work with filled me in on this place, specifically, it's baked goods. He's the type who would know: a chain-restaurant connoisseur, from (where else?) the state of Ohio. Toledo, to be exact. They love chain restaurants up there. Chain restaurants and Jesus, in that order. So the word is, there is a woman named Anita who bakes at this place. The management hates her, because her pies are so good that she can essentially name her price. Word has it that she gets paid as well as a restaurant manager. Big doin's. And it was true, about the pie at least. We had us a chocolate cream pie for a super-awkward, super-sober office pre-Thanksgiving party. That cake was amazing. Anita did that right. This fellow says, and I can't vouch directly, that the apple pies go extra quick. Like really goddamn quick. In fact, you generally have to preorder weeks ahead for Anita's cakes. So this review may be coming too late for Thanksgiving. But yes, you can order a cake or pie from Anita. My own two cents are that Anita oughta get whatever she wants. People are Yelping about them with a solid 4 stars because of her. If she's that good, and Ohio seems to think she is, Anita is doing them a favor. But hey, I haven't met her, only her pies. I am only a cry in the wilderness, one opinion in a veritable ocean, and in the end I don't know shit. None of us do. Enjoy your pie!

The service at this place was terrible. I got sat very quickly which was nice. Once seated I never got anyone to come to my table i was over looked waiter by waiter. What made things worse they sat a couple behind me after i was already seated and out of the blue a waitress shows up and takes their order before anyone coming to me to even ask me for my drink order. Very disappointed because the food looked amazing.

Went there just to get out from work and eat out.. had a coupon for a $6.99 cheeseburger, fries and a Coke. Nearly no wait time and while I sat in my booth, I looked around to notice all the senior citizens enjoying their meals. I felt so young! I digress.. back to the meal. My server was very nice and she quickly brought out the burger. It was a good sized one too with very crispy fries on the side, two fresh tomatoes on top and two pieces of pickles. I chose the American cheese and they had put on two slices. Yum. The burger wasn't ah-mazing. It was a cheeseburger. Yet the bread which wasn't just your typical burger bread was tasty and soft and made it pretty good.

Food is okay for the type of place. Sodas tasted weird, probably because their machine had some issue, according to the waitress (which didn't stop them from serving the soda though). Service is really slow. I've been to this place twice. First time, I waited 15 minutes to be seated (not because the place was full but just because no one stopped to welcome me). Second time, I waited almost 25 minutes for my drink, dish came almost 40 minutes after I ordered it. The waitress dropped the check on the table almost as soon as she brought the dish, which I think is really rude. Cutlery was dirty (had sauce on them) and had to be replaced. Overall, very disappointing. It's not because you're a diner that you can be messy the basics. Look elsewhere if you care about decent service.

We were glad to find a good roast beef sandwich at this Perkins. We arrived at 11:00 and were seated quickly. Our waitress was very helpful and brought us our drinks quickly. The only bummer for my husband was their selection of beers was limited. Our food came hot and fresh. The waitress offered us refills and desserts. The desserts looked incredibly yummy but we skipped them. The bathrooms were clean.

I always come here and have had good experiences overall but today I ordered the chicken strip melt and I had a big strip of saran wrap material in my sandwich stuck between the chicken and cheese. That was disgusting and I think I might've swallowed some ughh..The manager took care of everything and said that's the material that we wrap the meat in. They made me a whole new one and took my order off of our bill. I still like perkins but I will definitely check my food before I eat and probably start going to a different location.

Our family ate breakfast here today. The waitress dropped the drinks on us, which I get happens. The problem is in how she handled the situation. She failed to apologize, did minimum clean up and then left a bunch of napkins for us to finish cleaning. Then the manager stopped by and made a lake joke about never sitting at that waitress' table again. I didn't expect much but a simple apology and dry table would have went a long way. Service was substandard.

My fiance and I stopped at Perkin's over the weekend for breakfast.. However, my expectations weren't all too high as this was only my second trip ever to Perkins. Upon being seated in a booth, I noticed how the seat felt more like a trampoline. I had to restrain my inner child from jumping up and down. We must've waited maybe 15 minutes before our server arrived and took our drink order. 10 minutes later, she came back with our drink, and 15 minutes later, she came back for our order. I ordered the Farmer's Omelet with breakfast potatoes, and it also included pancakes. The green peppers and onions had been sauteed past the point of no return to where they were blackened. The omelet wasn't very satisfying to say the least.. I ended up pulling it apart to remove the blackened bits of onions and peppers, but that didn't even save my breakfast. So, my breakfast sat at the end of the table wasted because the quality was so mediocre. My fiance ordered Southern style chicken and biscuits, which were topped with gravy. By the time it arrived to the table, the gravy was cold, but, the chicken was hot, so, my fiance ate it without complaint. Will I go back? Probably not. Would I recommend Perkins to a friend? Definitely not.

I came here because of a coupon I had and because the grrl didn't want a hot dog...should have went to BITE like I originally planned. Strike one...our spacey server handed us the menus and 30 seconds later wanted to see if we were ready to order...and looked annoyed when of course I wasn't. Strike 2...spacey server brought the wrong drinks... Strike 3...it smells like moldy b.o. at our table Then the food came out. The grrl's french toast looked edible though more yellow than crispy.brown. My pork chops had a maple chipotle glaze that resembled water instead of the gooey, herby sauce in the menu. We ate everything, but I also ate most of my school lunches when I was younger. The one good thing was the manager when we were leaving was very nice. I didn't mention how terrible the food was because a: Perkins is going through a bankruptcy and she is probably more worried about keeping her job (I heard the servers talking about it when I came in) and b: she actually seemed to care about things and I felt that I would be piling on if I expressed how terrible the people around her were. Sometimes you don't tell your favorite aunt that her singing that she has taken pride in her entire life actually sucks and is painful to listen to...and this was one of those times.

for nine bucks I had 2 eggs omelet style with cheese, 1/2 a waffle, hash browns, turkey sausage and a pot of coffee. It was yummy overall but it seemed kind of cold when it came to the table. The service was okay but when the waitress delivered the three syrups she did not bother to tell me the different types, I had to ask for them. I enjoyed the free wi fi and that worked well, I did some email while I was there. I went in about 8 a.m for 2 hours. Pretty good- manager was odd, barking orders loudly at his staff. Bathroom was clean and had hooks on the back of the door for the purses. always points there :-)
